OCVRP can help dealers sell more cars by providing up to $7,500 in rebates to your customers when they buy or lease an eligible electric vehicle with a base MSRP less than $50,000.

Standard Rebate

• $2,000 toward the purchase or lease of a new eligible Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) with a battery capacity of 10 kWh or more.
• $1,500 toward the purchase or lease of a new eligible Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) with a battery capacity of 10 kWh or more.
• $750 toward the purchase or lease of a new eligible vehicle with a battery capacity of less than 10 kWh.
• $375 toward the purchase or lease of an eligible zero-emission motorcycle.
• A Standard Rebate may not be combined with a Charge Ahead Rebate.

Charge Ahead Rebate

• $7,500 off a new eligible Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV)
• $5,000 off a new eligible Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV)
• $2,500 off, or no more than the vehicle price, of a used eligible Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV)
• Minimum $2,500, up to the lesser of $4,000 OR 30% of the vehicle price off a used eligible Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). See thresholds below:
  • Vehicle price $12,000 or more → rebate is $4,000
  • Vehicle price $8,333–$11,999 → rebate is 30% of vehicle price
  • Vehicle price under $8,333 → rebate is $2,500, but may not exceed the purchase price
• Zero-emission motorcycles are not eligible for a Charge Ahead Rebate. 
• A Charge Ahead Rebate may not be combined with a Standard Rebate.

Charge Ahead rebates can now be applied at the point of sale for both new and used vehicles with a valid Charge Ahead Prequalification Voucher.

How to Submit Rebate Applications

To provide the rebates as “cash on the hood,” you will need:

• Check applicant rebate limit eligibility
• Purchase price of car for rebate amount eligibility. Check the rebate calculator to calculate the rebate.
• Proof of temporary or permanent Oregon vehicle registration. 
• Copy of the sales or lease contract.
• Proof of Oregon residency (e.g., Oregon driver’s license).
• A signed Rebate Assignment Form.
• Attestation Form
• A valid Charge Ahead Prequalification Voucher number. (Charge Ahead only)
