Due to limited funding, the Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program will suspend the Charge Ahead rebate on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025. To qualify for the Charge Ahead Rebate, you must buy or lease your vehicle from May 22, 2025, through Dec. 4, 2025. Purchases or leases made on or after Dec. 5th will not be eligible for the Charge Ahead Rebate. If you buy or lease a vehicle within the eligible timeframe, you still have six months from your purchase or lease date to apply. However, all future submitted and then approved Charge Ahead Rebate applications may be placed on a waiting list to be paid in spring 2026. Find additional detail in the press release.

The Standard rebate was suspended on Sept. 9, 2025. Vehicles purchased or leased between May 22,2025 through Sept 8, 2025 still have six months from the purchase or lease date to apply. All future approved Standard Rebate applications will be placed on a waiting list to be paid in spring 2026.

Public, fast-charging stations greatly reduce time spent charging. They add about 50 miles of range in as little as 20 minutes.

There are hundreds of public chargers available. Charging stations are everywhere-at grocery stores and shopping centers, rest stops on the highway and even at your workplace.

Resources and apps like PlugShare, Chargeway and the Alternative Fuels Data Center give real-time information on charging station locations, pricing, nearby amenities and availability. Google Maps also shows charging station locations.
